The threshold is in the code: 250 metres of movement with the ignition off, or 1,000 metres idling above 20 km/h. Anything below is manoeuvring, anything above is an alert.

End of trip, ignition off, car parked. The device keeps reporting its state every 30 seconds.

The position drifts, ignition stays off. After 250 metres as the crow flies the threshold is reached.
