The number is not a marketing figure but a test result: 34 vehicle days of real raw data, every platform trip merged with its own trip. Whoever drives for Uber gets no suspicion, but an amount on the trip.
- Day 1
The fleet's Uber trips are imported: time, route, amount. Plus the recorded trips from the cars.
- Day 1, at night
Every platform trip is laid over the car's own trips. The median gap between the two times is two and a half minutes.
- Day 34
772 platform trips in the corpus, 772 matched. None of them ends up on the review list as fare evasion.
- Afterwards
The corpus becomes a regression test: every change to the evaluation has to pass it again.
